doggio is a dog-care marketplace. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and the rights you have under the GDPR.

What we collect and why
In short: Mostly what you give us to run your account and bookings, plus optional analytics and always-on error reporting that carries no personal content.
We collect the following categories of personal data, each with a lawful basis under the GDPR:

Analytics and cookies
In short: Analytics is off until you allow it, and it’s EU-hosted and privacy-friendly. You can change your choice anytime in Cookie settings.
We use PostHog (EU-hosted) for privacy-friendly product analytics. It runs only after you allow the Analytics category. We do not capture chat content, payment details, or passwords in analytics.
We always run basic error reporting to keep doggio reliable. These reports contain no personal content and are not used to track you. See our Cookie policy for the full list of cookies and how to change your choices.
International transfers
In short: We keep data in the EU where we can. Any transfer outside the EEA uses appropriate safeguards.
We host core data in the EU. Where a processor transfers data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. Governing law: the laws of the Czech Republic.
How long we keep data
In short: By default we delete non-essential data within a year. Some records are kept longer where the law requires it.
We keep personal data only as long as needed. Our baseline is one year for data without a longer legal basis; statutory carve-outs are listed below.

Your rights
In short: You can access, correct, delete, or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent, just contact us.
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data, subject to the retention exceptions above.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing.
